There is definitely a disturbing lack of respect for life in the OB/GYN offices-among other stories, one woman I know went in for a sonagram, and was repeatedly told her "blob" was on the screen moving. The doctor also referred to her baby as a "blob" and said it wasn't a person yet. She asked the doctor why everyone refused to call her baby a baby, and instead kept calling it a blob...the doctor told her that they are specifically instructed not to refer to the baby as a baby, because then the mother would be too disappointed "if she lost it". This isn't the first time I've heard of this kind of thing, and I am writing a book to expose and combat the pro-choice bias and disrespect for life in the OB/GYN offices, as I think it is directly caused by our having legalized abortion for 40 years.
I've made a Kickstarter project to fund a research trip about this, and wanted to let you guys know about it. Please consider helping anyway you can, even if it's just to spread the word.
The project is here:
Also, if you are or know of a woman with a story to tell, please contact me at the above link.
Thank you so much-have a great day!
