  • Dump M$ Windows for something better

For those of you that don't know, besides comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable, my night job is being a computer nerd. What is funny is that I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering in Information Technology, but I don't even know how to use Microsoft (sorry about the bad language, from now on I will say M$) Windows operating system (sure I could figure it out if I fiddled around).

I have not used a Windows computer in almost 10 years. And just in case you think you have me pegged, I don't use a Mac primarily either. Just to be 100% transparent I think I should tell you that I have owned a Macbook Pro for a year now, it is the first Apple product that I have purchased, it is not my primary computer though.

Here is the bottom line, M$ is one of the largest subsidizers of child-killing internationally. They push what they call family planning. When disasters happen overseas, M$ doesn't ship much needed food/medical supplies, they ship out condoms, birth control and "abortion" services. Bill Gates' father was on the board of Planned Parenthood, which may be where his animosity for unborn babies comes from. Gates and M$ support forced abortion and sterilization around the world. Knowing this, why are you still supporting M$ by buying their products.

I use Linux primarily; there are hundreds of Linux distributions, meaning hundreds of choices. Here is what a common Linux desktop may look like: http://www.linuxscreenshots.com/openSUSE/11-3/. Guess what, Linux is free, M$ products sometimes cost hundreds of dollars. Since it is free, you don't have to worry about your dollars going towards world-wide eugenics.

I am not saying that you have to go with Linux, here is what I recommend: If you like a challenge and are into computers, then go with Linux. If you are just a regular computer user that just wants something that works out of the box, then go with Mac OSX, but whatever you do, stay away from M$. Comment on this post, or post in the forums if you have questions.

    Peace,
